Chad’s bodybuilding career started two years before his accident, in 2005. His accident left him paralyzed from the waist down and he would have to rely on a wheelchair to help him get around. Read more about Chad’s Story here.
In 2000, Chad first began to dabble in bodybuilding. At the time, he weighed about 160 pounds with about 15% body fat standing right at 6′ tall. Three years later he had bulked up to 240 lbs with 15-18% body fat.
In October of 2003, Chad stepped on the bodybuilding stage for the first time. In preparation for the stage, Chad shredded 45 pounds and got down to ~6% body fat in only 12 weeks.
He finished in 9th place out of the 11 contestants. It was then that Chad realized his bodybuilding ambitions outweighed his genetic potential. He continued to lift weights and train but the competition circuit no longer interested him.
Chad has always had a desire in his heart to help others. His bodybuilding platform allows him to show that obstacles don’t get in our way to stop us; they come into our lives to strengthen us and make us better.
